The Mathematics and Thinking Skills Enrichment Course is designed to help Year 5 students with the preparation required in mathematics and thinking skills to succeed in the Selective High Schools Placement Test and Scholarship Examinations. Students will hone essential and fundamental mathematical ideas and apply them to difficult problem-solving questions.
To help students prepare for the new Thinking Skills test, we will focus on critical thinking and problem solving, two skills that are crucial for success. Students will critically apply numerical reasoning and learn to decipher arguments and reasoning by creating logical associations.
